Pix Farm dates back a long way, we think it is mentioned in the doomsday book.

In its present form we have many buildings several hundred years old, the best of these is now Pix Farm Feed Store. The store’s building was used to build the first railway engine to be used on what is now the main London to Birmingham railway. The Barn was named the Harvey Coombe Barn after this steam engine. The proprietor Jacky Rhodes set up the Feed store ten years ago, although she has lived on the farm since childhood in 1960. From about 1967 Jacky started a riding school at the farm and to this day many of her pupils still return but now as customers of the feed store.

Pix Farm is now a livery yard, but has in the past has also reared cattle and pigs.
